panic attack

ha. yesterday was a relatively stressful night. i had to key in the tips given by the customer...he was giving tips trough his credit card..:P and then i typed in wrongly..becuase the machine displayed "NEW: S$0.00" and i had to type in the number..i thought it meant the new amount after tips given..so i typed in $34.:P and guess what.i was supposed to type in the amt of tips given..:(

so i had to void off the whole sale. and then. i couldn't type in manually. and it launched me into a slight panic attack...the same feeling i got when i realised i read the chem paper's instructions wrongly....during my sec4 prelims. it was scary. reliving that whole panic attack .

but, luckily i managed to calm myself down. cos just as i was struggling with the tips. another table asked for the bill..and they even walked to the cashier counter...and i was stressed to finish up my stuff quickly.

yup. then i had to figure out what to do to get that amount keyed in and charged to that customer's account. called the 24hours authorisation dept. but they asked me to call the merchent dept. on monday. cos it's only office hours. i was assured somehow. though my prob wasn't really solved. :P knowing that i could somehow type the amount in manually. there was a solution. :)

at the worst..i would have to pay up..$34.00..at least it isn't like 100 dollars..hais..but if i have to pay...it would be equivalent to about 6hours of work. ;( so sad..that's about 1 day's pay. hais. well..shan't think about it now. till monday. :P

ha. the last 2 days after work were spent in east coast macs watching football with my father.:) yesterday's match was particularly interesting.:) 6goals.:) haaaa...:D i was somehow wondering whether a double digit could be possible. but there was only about 1 minute left after the 6th goal.:P

muahaa...:D very interesting. how can one control the ball so well with his legs?:P when i play football. it's just kickkickkick.:P haa...they can flip up the ball. use their head. kick it here there....run with the ball ..yet not be looking at the ball..:P erps. i keep looking at the ball when i run with it....;P

haa..:Pwell. work again today. i'm counting down. after today..i would have 2 more days of full work. :P then rest!!:P lazy me..:P i don't seem to want to work too much now. though i would like to earn the money.:P haa...:P

with august looming near...:P i somehow want to spend my last month catching up with friends...:) there are going to be gatherings. :) and i want to make sure i go for them. :) before everyone really goes their separate ways...some flying away...some goin to diff unis. and i want to spend the last month doing my EXPLORE SINGAPORE...haa....it's really exciting. cos there are some places that i've not been since i was young...in pri sch. it feels like i'm returning to my childhood...:)

it's time to give more time to myself...:)

and work has become my lowest priority in some way. :) if i can push it away when needed to . i will.:) haa...:D and considering that they have enough staff too?
